About FPSProbe

FPSProbe provides browser-based tools for checking frame rate and display timing. The first release includes an FPS test and a refresh rate test.

Browser-based measurements

The FPS test runs an automatic WebGL graphics workload scan and samples browser frame intervals. It shows measured performance and saves up to 10 scan records in your browser for comparison. The refresh rate test samples requestAnimationFrame timing for five seconds and can compare the estimate with a refresh rate you select.

These readings describe the browser session. They are not a measurement of a game's frame rate and cannot independently verify a monitor's hardware specification. Browser scheduling, display settings, power modes and device performance can affect results.
